Two brave pet dogs squared up to a huge king cobra that slithered into their garden.
The fearless five-year-old pooches, named Motown and Lenny, bounded over to the deadly reptile in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand on December 13.
They were barking ferociously to try and scare away the snake, which responded by rearing up and lunging at them.
Concerned owner Pa Aeaw went outside to see what was happening and recoiled with fright when he noticed the cobra, which can kill humans with a single bite.
He called the emergency services who sent experienced reptile handlers to snare the snake. Shocking footage shows the terrifying stand-off between the mutts and the reptile - with neither refusing to back down.
Rescuers eventually used a rod to bring the reptile under control and drag it away to be measured. It was 12ft long, weighed 14kg and had suffered five body bits from the dogs.
